all those wars are self inflicted wounds, do you really think fighting the extrimist will end never and ever, those people just become more motivated against west, think about it would you let anyone invade your land and kill your families on daily bases, i dont think so, even if you didnot have weapon you would do any thing that it took to get ride of your enemy, so thumbs down for the wars and for the one who got the fake prize
So much for promised made by Obama to end the war by 2009 lol, He lied about that promise and now he is planning to leave 30k to 50k troops to police the country much like we have in South Korea. Expect them to be there for a long long time to come.
and 76% of the country still supports it despite what the media wants us to believe. The pole was done by Rasmuttin so if you have a problem with the 76% number you can take it up with them.
Many of the troops do not support this war.
It’s all a matter of choice on their part, they know how to come home if they wanted to; but they choose to stay. The death toll is tragic, but compared to most wars it is a drop in the bucket, but I still pray that god protects the souls of those that died to protect us. But the truths honor is in their mission, so I believe wanting them to fail this mission which the left constantly tries to cause is stomping on it. You may not view it the same way, which is fine but I wont change my position.
The troops are doing a wonderful job at what they are assigned and are all heroes, but should we be making them fight in this stupid war of terror?
You and many others like you think you are right and others are wrong because you are somehow more patriotic than the others. Thats very disrespectful. You can disagree with your government and be patriotic. I love America but I think she is doing the wrong thing, and I am showing my love for her by trying to make her do what is best for everyone.
Well yes, they volunteered and joined, but is it fair to take advantage of that? Is it fair to send them on a mission where the death-toll goes over that of 9/11? Is it fair to call anyone who thinks that we shouldn’t be making our relatives go overseas fight in a war that may not be the right thing to do “stomping on their honor”?
People speaking out against the war are not speaking out against the troops, they are speaking out against the government’s use of out troops.
They volunteered, that understand they have a mission and want to make sure that when they do come home, the enemy will not follow. I think it is impossible to support the troops without supporting their mission because that is what the troops support. I would appreciate your point of view however because if i’m wrong i’d rather know why. Thank for a peaceful debate.

You republicans disgust me. Since when does wanting to bring the troops home to safety and ending a war stomping on their honor? Personally, if I was a soldier, I would feel more honored that people actually cared about me and wanted to bring me back home instead of leaving me in there for another year or two.

1. Bush never, ever gave ANYONE a time table for pulling out. Democrats want it so they can tell the Iraqi’s how long they have to hold out.
2. Playing politics with the troops? Like saying we lost the war 2 years in? Trying to demoralize them? Asking for REQUIRED reports then calling the person who is supposed to give that report a liar before he even says one word?
3. Finally, these are volunteer soldiers, they know the situation a lot better then you, and you are stomping on their honor.
Great point but Its not just the American soldiers that are geting killed. What about poor Iraqi’s no one even counts them as though their lives are of less or no value.
