I laughed how she states that “they don’t have the technology to take pictures and sent them worldwide” then a guy comes out shooting pictures with his cell phone.

@Mrcharliebobo it was on the news yesterday on NPR arounfd1600 hrs EST…apparently there was not that much damage to Japan so it’s sort of a “Non Story” as far as the news cares.

and these natural disaster are happening more frequently. Even northern Illinois had an earthquake a couple of weeks ago (this area typically does NOT get earthquakes)

@chicaroxs Chile has a stable society and building codes, as well as a history of frequent strong earthquakes. Haiti is a much more poor and corrupt country, so their buildings are much weaker and prone to damage.
First thing I’am thinking of is what will be the charity song for this earthquake. I’m sadned that I haven’t thought of the suffering first. Oh well we need yet another simon cowell song in the charts.Any Suggestions of what song and who should sing it?
