I know when gold went over $1000 USD, people in China & India & some in the USA started selling their gold jewelry.

I have some pieces I’d like to sell if it should go over $1000 this year.

Is it best to sell to a local jewelry store or to one of the companies that advertise on TV?

Why sell something that is rapidly gaining value (gold) for something that is rapidly loosing value (dollar) ? Unless you absolutely need the cash I’d hang onto it. Have you asked yourself why suddenly so many companies want to buy your gold?
