Those have already been available for decades, but not affordable for the vast majority of the world population. Once you invent new ways to make them cheaper, you will have to start inventing new ways to live underwater, because oceans will drown whole countries. Next will be finding another planet to live on–we won’t, and the cycle goes on. There’s no escape for humanity from a higher power.

This caused shivers all over my body. It is a very humbling moment for any arrogant person in this world. It reminds us all that no matter how much we advance, no matter where we go with our culture, intellect, technology, and no matter how much we disbelieve or don’t care about a higher power, there is something out there much bigger than us, much more powerful than us…even if it’s just an earthquake–as a reminder.
