@stromam not saying science isn’t useful. But, people have survived without science as well. You can’t just contribute all of humankind’s success to science. If you really are a scientist then you should know this. Inventions and achievements have happened from science but, that’s such a vast coverage. Science is simply the study of something, we are all scientist every single day in that aspect.
@Jestofunk Yeah and the average lifespan of humans was like 28, well now its like in the 70s. I hope you are less than 28 and have already had kids and taught them everything they need to know to survive, otherwise, without science you would be screwed.
@Jestofunk they aren’t really doing anything, they just think they are. If I shot them in the head while they were meditating, they would stop “traveling the cosmos” and die. At that point time and matter would yet again become very relevant to them.
@Jestofunk and if you were born in space you would die, that’s idiotic. Time and mass still exist in space, it just behaves differently depending on the relative speed of two objects. You need to do some research, i recommend “The Elegant Universe” by Brian Green. Time and mass existed before man, so it would be impossible for them to be “man made”.
@stromam what about people who meditate? when you meditate and open the portal of your third eye and begin to have an out-of-body experience, why is time and mass irrelevant? you can travel the cosmos and what is happening on this planet in that moment of “time” doesn’t matter or exist for you. That’s why i say the mind is the 4th dimension cause anything is possible in it. you can travel to the future in your mind cause, there isn’t a future only repruccusions of what have already happened.
@stromam well played but, i don’t think the world would fall apart without scientific studies going on. People survived for thousands of years, we survived disease, wars, natural disasters and, it wasn’t because of science. Science may help us understand things better but, they never actually help anyone. We still have cancer, AIDS etc.. but, it’s not that they can’t cure it, they rather not cure it so they can keep filling their pockets.
i’m simply going to say that, the only reason time and mass are relevant is cause we live in a realm where those things have effect on us. But, who’s not to say that if you were born in space, not on a planet, that time and mass would be relevant to you? i mean astronauts lose muscle mass being in space too long. So, if you were born in space mass wouldn’t matter to you but, i’d imagine something else would. So, the whole point is that time and mass are man made cause we live by those laws.
@Jestofunk Time is a very real thing, like mass. The units of measurement of time (just as of mass) are defined my humans. The lack of a definition of a second or a kilogram does not mean that time and mass cease to exist.
@Jestofunk I would do some fact checking on that one. I’ve never known anyone who can time travel in their mind. Yes, the scaling of time changes from one place to the next (more accurately from one speed to the next) just as distance and gravity change. And you can’t use a “day” as a comparison of time from one planet to another because their period of rotation is different, not having anything to do with the actual perception of a concrete measurement of time like the second.
@stromam the 4th dimension isn’t time. It’s the bending in time where you could travel back in time or to the future. That’s why i said it’s your mind. Cause you can travel to the past to the future and to the present with your mind. Time isn’t even real, the only reason it exists is because of our orbit. If you were on mars your days would be different, “TIME” would be different. Also time can be expanded just like material items, “time” is man made.

@CMazzucco I am a chemical engineer from a highly respected engineering college (Rose-Hulman if you want to look it up). The established model of reality I live in increases efficiency, improves quality and is based on hundreds of years and millions of hours of cold, hard scientific method. If everyone based their lives on pure intuition the world would fall apart. Intuition never cured diseases or improved the quality of life.
